The opportunity

About this role

Deck'd Holiday Lighting is hiring a Holiday Light Installer in Delray Beach, FL, paying $22-$32/hour. You need a valid driver's license and real comfort on a ladder, since the job means climbing from a 6-foot stepladder to a 40-foot extension ladder to hang, wire, and troubleshoot holiday lighting displays.

Who You Are:

  • You are steady and unhurried on a ladder, because doing the job right matters more than doing it fast.

  • You take pride in a clean, evenly spaced light line that makes a roofline look sharp from the street.

  • You work through a wiring problem calmly instead of getting frustrated by it.

  • You bring a valid driver's license and the physical ability to work extension ladders at real height for extended periods, including in cold weather.

Who We Are:

  • Deck'd Holiday Lighting installs permanent lighting across Florida, and this role covers our seasonal Christmas and holiday lighting installs too.

  • We work residential and commercial properties, from single-story houses to multi-story buildings.

  • Crews often work in two-person teams, one on the ladder and one managing wire on the ground.

What You Will Do Each Day:

  • Measure rooflines to plan each lighting layout.

  • Clip, staple, and mount light strings along fascia, shingles, and rooflines.

  • Connect light runs to exterior outlets or temporary power sources.

  • Troubleshoot dead sections and repair faulty connections.

  • Remove, coil, label, and store equipment once the season ends.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • Pay is $22-32/hour.

  • Seasonal, onsite role, open to either a W2 employee or 1099 contractor arrangement.

  • You work hands on, outdoors, on real properties.
