The opportunity
About this role
Appliance Connection is hiring an Appliance Service Technician in Birmingham, AL, with at least 1 year of hands on appliance repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Pay starts at $20 per hour during training and moves to performance pay up to $45 per hour after. You train under an accomplished specialist and can be running your own calls in 7 to 8 weeks.

You love knowing how things work and you are comfortable using technology to diagnose a fault.
You bring the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and work in tight or confined spaces.
You bring a dependable commute to the Birmingham area and a willingness to complete a background check and drug screen.

What You Will Do Each Day:
Visit customers in their homes to diagnose appliance problems.
Repair household appliances on site.
Explain what went wrong and what the fix involves.
Serve as the Appliance Service Technician customers meet at their door.
Call technical support when a repair gets complicated, even working solo.
