About this role
Carter's Painting is hiring a Residential Sales Manager in Alachua County, FL. This is a full-time, onsite role with total compensation of $150,000 to $200,000 per year through a 9% commission on sold projects plus monthly and yearly bonuses. You will estimate, sell, and manage residential painting projects from first customer contact through completion for a growing painting company serving the Alachua area.

You are organized enough to manage multiple active projects, subcontractor crews, and customer timelines without dropping a detail
You bring two or more years of experience in sales and business development with a track record of estimating and closing

What You Will Do Each Day
Estimate projects on-site and virtually, accurately calculating labor and materials and delivering quotes within 24 hours
Follow up on every quote consistently until the customer approves or declines
Recruit, manage, and schedule subcontractors to keep projects staffed and on track
Collect deposits, coordinate job starts, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Upsell additional services to customers during and after active projects
Pursue strategic relationships with realtors, property managers, and roofers to generate referral business
