The opportunity
About this role
The Estimator serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the restoration process. This position is responsible for inspecting property damage, preparing accurate estimates, negotiating project scope, and successfully selling and closing restoration projects for mold, fire, and biohazard losses. The Estimator works closely with the production team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to project completion, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while providing an exceptional client experience.

Compensation
$125,000–$250,000/ yr On-Target Earnings (OTE) through a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.
What You'll Do
Conduct site inspections to assess fire, mold, and biohazard damage.
Prepare accurate estimates and scopes of work.
Negotiate project scope with insurance adjusters.
Present restoration solutions and successfully sell and close restoration projects.
Obtain client approvals and signed contracts to begin work.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to project completion.
Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and subcontractors.
Manage assigned restoration projects and monitor progress.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Manage jobs and maintain accurate documentation in the CRM system.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
1–3 years of estimating, restoration, project management, or sales experience.
Valid driver's license.
Experience with Xactimate required.
Preferred certifications: Mold Certification, AMRT, WRT, and Lead Certification.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong communication, customer service, and negotiation skills.
Ability to accurately assess property damage and prepare estimates.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in emergency situations.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
