About this role
FireFly Solar is hiring a Solar Sales Representative in Calgary, AB. This is a commission only contractor role, and historical averages run near $70,000 a year for conservative performers, $95,000 to $100,000 for average, and $115,000 plus for top performers. You need to be authorized to work in Canada and comfortable earning on results instead of hours. Your day is spent at the door, booking qualified appointments for our senior Solar Educators.
Who You Are:
You are competitive, you keep score, and you want to beat last week's number.
You are coachable and want a manager who tells you the truth.
You can turn a doorstep hello into a real conversation.
You bring fluent English and the nerve to cold call and sell through social media.
You bring availability Monday through Saturday, including evenings, and the willingness to work outdoors in any weather.
Who We Are:
We sell residential solar directly to homeowners.
Setters book the appointment, senior Solar Educators run the consultation.
We promote on performance, not tenure. The path runs Setter, Closer, Office Closer, Team Lead, Assistant Manager, Manager.
What You Will Do Each Day:
Knock doors in assigned neighbourhoods and start conversations with homeowners.
Find the ones who are interested in solar.
Collect the site details our team needs before a consultation.
Book consultations for our senior Solar Educators.
Cold call and use social selling to add appointments beyond your door count.
