About this role
SSA Group is hiring a Kitchen Manager at Snook Haven in Venice, FL. Pay runs $22.50 to $25.00 an hour, and the role wants several years of high-volume kitchen leadership experience along with a manager-level food safety certification, or the readiness to earn one. You will run production, staffing and food safety for a kitchen that serves guests all day long.

You are a hands-on leader who can run the line and manage the kitchen at the same time.
You take pride in food that hits the same standard whether it is the first plate of the day or the last.
You are sharp with numbers, keeping food cost and waste under control without cutting corners.
You bring several years of high-volume culinary or kitchen management experience.
You bring a manager-level food safety certification, or the readiness to earn one, and the flexibility for early mornings, weekends and holidays.

What You Will Do Each Day:
Plan daily production and staffing for the kitchen.
Order, receive and manage inventory to control food cost.
Monitor food temperatures, storage and waste across the kitchen.
Train, schedule and coach culinary employees.
Coordinate with front of house leadership on service timing and quality.
