About this role
Naab & Mohring is hiring an Appliance Service Technician in Depew, NY. Pay runs $25 to $35 per hour based on experience. You will diagnose and repair washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and ovens in homes across Western New York, using your appliance repair experience and knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
Who You Are:
You are a hands-on problem solver who likes figuring out what is wrong before you start the repair
You take pride in leaving every home cleaner and every appliance running better than when you arrived
You are a clear communicator who makes customers feel heard and explains the fix in plain language
You bring a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
You bring the strength to lift 50 lbs and maneuver appliances up to 250 lbs when needed
You bring experience in appliance repair or a related technical field (at least 3 years)
You bring knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
You have the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
You are customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills
You are able to routinely lift 50 lbs and occasionally maneuver appliances up to 250 lbs

What You Will Do Each Day:
Start your day at the Depew office, wrapping up paperwork and picking up parts and your route
Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems on washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and ovens
Repair and replace parts using technical manuals and schematics
Test each appliance after the repair to confirm it works properly
Handle installation and disassembly tasks as needed
Keep accurate records of completed work, parts used, and customer interactions
