Journeyman Finish Carpenter

Private Construction Company is hiring a Journeyman Finish Carpenter based out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA with travel throughout the Western U.S. This is a full-time seasonal role paying $30 to $40 per hour with paid travel time, per diem, and mileage reimbursement. You will install fixtures, millwork, and finish carpentry in grocery stores, big-box retailers, and retail malls.

What You Will Do Each Day

• Install commercial metal fixtures including gondola shelving, display units, wall standards, and structural supports

• Perform finish carpentry including modular cabinets, countertops, wood base, trim, and wall paneling

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and layout plans to ensure accurate placement and alignment

• Install FRP wainscot, restroom accessories, toilet partitions, and plywood backing for future fixture mounting

• Hang sales floor display fixtures, artwork, signage supports, and decor elements

• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to meet project timelines
