    Joe Taylor Restoration is hiring a Restoration Cleaning Project Team Lead. In his role you will lead a team of technicians through fire, smoke, mold, biohazard, and wind damage restoration projects, bringing properties back to their pre-disaster condition.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage technicians on active restoration job sites to ensure work follows the estimate and safety guidelines

  • Oversee fire, smoke, mold, biohazard, and wind damage restoration projects from start to completion

  • Train new technicians within their first 90 days following company procedures and the training program

  • Communicate with homeowners, business owners, estimators, and subcontractors throughout each project

  • Document job sites with pre, during, and post photos uploaded daily

  • Manage department inventory, supplies, equipment, and vehicle maintenance coordination

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of restoration experience

  • Mold Certification, AMRT & WTR required

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Strong leadership, documentation, and communication skills

Requirements

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications

The minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree. Candidates should have one to three (1–3) years of experience and/or training in the Cleaning Department. A valid Driver’s License is required, and candidates must hold a Mold Certificate, AMRT, and WTR certification.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The employee is expected to recognize the influence of beliefs and cultures on behaviors and accept strengths and limitations in others. They must exhibit adaptability, flexibility, self-control, and maturity in work and behavior. Strong decision-making skills are required, along with the ability to remain calm and responsive in emergency or stressful situations. The employee should recognize situations that require notification of a manager and demonstrate self-motivated initiative to ensure all deadlines are met.

They are also expected to interact positively with employees at all levels and be able to analyze, interpret, and communicate data effectively both verbally and in writing. The employee should be capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from leadership. Assignments must be completed with promptness and accuracy, deadlines consistently met, and work prioritized to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Management / Supervisory Authority

The employee is expected to supervise other employees.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include occasionally standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may be exposed to indoor and outdoor weather conditions, hazards, vibrations, and moderate noise.
