About this role
SSA Group is hiring a Part-Time Server at Snook Haven in Venice, FL, paying $12.00 an hour. The role wants someone who can keep several tables moving at once and stay flexible for a schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays. You will work tables during some of the busiest hours at a legendary riverside restaurant known for its spot in classic jungle movies.
Who You Are:
You are personable and attentive, the kind of server guests remember by name.
You take pride in learning the menu well enough to answer any question a guest asks, staying organized when several tables need something at once.
You are a clear communicator and a team player who brings energy and initiative to a fast paced floor.
You bring serving experience and a food handler license or the willingness to obtain one.
You bring the stamina to stand and walk for a full shift, carry boxes up to 35 pounds, and work nights, weekends and holidays as the schedule calls for.

What You Will Do Each Day:
Greet guests and take accurate food and drink orders.
Deliver food and beverages promptly to the table.
Answer questions about menu items and specials.
Communicate with the kitchen and bar to keep orders on time.
Keep your section and service areas clean and reset for the next guest.
